Concert: Richard Bona – „Bonafied” tour
An outstanding multi-instrumentalist, bassist and vocalist hailed as African Sting. Raised in a Cameroonian village, he - as he himself claims - "sings in praise of the power of nature, which he whole-heartedly thanks for everything that nature bestows upon him." His music is suffused with positivity and African sunshine. He is keen on merging musical genres, always oscillating around jazz. So far he has worked with the giants of world music, including Joe Zawinul, Herbie Hancock, Bobby McFerrin, Chick Corea, and Pat Metheny, who also participated in his tours and were featured on his albums (among others Pat Metheny, Michael Brecker and Kenny Garrett).
