La Dolce Vita is a concert of the most famous Italian songs performed by Nicola Palladini, a musical actor from Rome, accompanied by a music ensemble, as well as a journey through the history of Italian songs well known to the Polish audience.
The programme of the show includes hits such as ''Tu vuo fa l'americano'', ''L'Italiano'', "Azzurro", "Marina", ''O'sole mio'', ''Love in Portofino'', ''Volare'', "Mamma Maria", "Baila Morena", "Mambo Italiano","Quando, quando quando", "Buonasera Signorina", "Arrivederci Roma", "Se bastasse una canzone", "Tornero'', "Parole Parole", "Come Prima" and ''Nie płacz kiedy odjadę".
All members of the ensemble are professional musicians who play the world class instruments, and the band’s frontman-vocalist and host is Nicola Palladini, well known to the Lublin audience for the New Year's Eve Concert, Ciao Ciao Bambina.
Nicola began his theatrical career in The Rocky Horror Show as Riff Raff, and then took part in numerous musicals in Italy, including Welcome to the Machine, The Pink Floyd Rock Show as Producer Frank, Alice in Wonderland as the Mad Hatter, Across the Universe, Marcelino, Bread and Wine, Grease, and as one of the Apostles in the music show Maria of Nazareth, which premiered at the Paul VI Audience Hall in the Vatican.
In 2011, he made his debut on the Polish stage playing the leading character Master of Ceremonies in the musical CABARET, produced by Andrzej Maria Marczewski, at Nowy Theatre in Słupsk. The following year he appeared in the musical Kiss Me, Kate at Musical Theatre in Poznań, playing the leading character Fred Graham / Petruchio. In 2013 Nicola Palladini played the role of Sasha in the staging of Fiddler on the Roof at Powszechny Theatre in Radom and starred as Herod in Lucjan Rydel’s Polish Bethlehem produced by Mały Theatre in Tychy. In the same year, he played Marino Marini in the musical Ciao Ciao Bambina. Since October 4, 2014 he plays the double role of Judas and Herod in the staging of the famous musical Jesus Christ Superstar at Musical Theatre in Łódź. He also worked on a musical version of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night's Dream, in which he played Oberon and Theseus.
