Dir. Warwick Ross, David Roach – documentary – Australia, China, France – 75 minutes
The documentary investigates the impact of the contemporary economic situation on the prices and quality of Bordeaux. The authors focus on the chances and dangers resulting from Chinese demand for France’s finest wines. The Chinese market turns out to be much larger than the actual supply of wine. This may lead to either a steady increase in prices or a decline in the quality of France’s national treasure.
