On this November morning the audience will hear Przybyli ułani (Uhlans arrived…), Rozkwitały pąki białych róż (Buds of White Roses Were Opening) and Jak to na wojence ładnie (How Beautiful It Is At War) and many other patriotic songs. National Singing is a special concert that will remind you of important events from Polish history contained in patriotic songs. Before the concert, in an art corner located in the philharmonic’s foyer, children will make cotillions and flags that will be used as stage design for this patriotic show celebrating the 100th anniversary of restoration of Poland’s independence.
YOUNG MUSIC LOVERS – a series of concerts for children aged between 4 and 12 years who, alongside their parents / guardians, sit in the concert hall and thus enter the space reserved for an adult music audience. Participation in these concerts involves interaction with the host and musicians. Young Music Lovers concerts are held on Sundays at 12 pm.
Concerts for children at Lublin Philharmonic are a regular event for the young audience, including the youngest children. In this way we wish to promote the idea that it is never too early to get in contact with good music and that listening habits and participation in culture from the earliest age can educate successive generations of conscious recipients of music. Our Sunday meetings are the opportunity for Young Music Lovers to listen to vocal and instrumental music as well to take active part in performing music by playing instruments or joint singing. Our meetings with music for families take place on Sunday mornings in the concert hall of Lublin Philharmonic.
