II Eastern Europe Initiatives Congress

II Eastern Europe Initiatives Congress
23.09.201314:01

The EEIC 2013 agenda evolves around nine programme lines, including the following absolutely new ones, i.e. tourism, social innovation, corporate social responsibility, legacy and contexts. The Congress will be accompanied by the Integration-Mediations Festival aiming to present diversity of contemporary cultures of the Eastern Partnership countries.
The EEIC cultural programme is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as well as by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This year, within the Congress the special programme has been prepared, namely Culture for the Eastern Partnership.
Culture plays a particularly essential role in determining social and economic development, enables dialogue across borders and opens new opportunities of accomplishment at transnational level, European one in particular.
At II EEIC 2013, the prize will be awarded in the second edition of the contest for The Best Projects of Cross-border Cooperation. Projects that were awarded last year, currently function as an example to many people and public bodies of how to engage in creative and socially innovative activities in the region of Eastern Europe. Detailed information as well as the EEIC 2013 programme are to be found on the congress website.
