The two-day tournament was attended by sixteen teams of players whose year of birth is 2004: ten teams from Lublin; four from our partner cities of Brest (Belarus), Lviv (Ukraine), Omsk (Russia), Timişoara (Romania); and invited teams from Kiev (Ukraine) and Zamość.
More than 400 spectators watched the show enjoying the whole gamut of emotions thanks to the young football players.
The best scorer of the Tournament was Oskar Gede from Piłkarskie Nadzieje Motoru Lublin, the best football player was Piotr Urbański from BKS Lublin and the best goalkeeper – Velcea Valentin from Romania.
Lublin City Councillor Mrs Beata Stepaniuk-Kuśmierzak – the Head of the Sports, Tourism and Leisure Commission, Lublin City Councillor Mr Leszek Daniewski, President of the Lublin Football Association Mr Zbigniew Bartnik, President of MOSIR [City Sports and Leisure Center] ‘Bystrzyca’ Mr Zbigniew Hołysz and, on behalf of the Sport and Tourism Department of the Lublin Municipal Office, Director Mrs Iwona Haponiuk decorated football players and handed some small gifts to all of them.
