The representatives of the department of economy, Polish Parliament, organizations and institutions related to green energetics and regional governments are going to determine whether the renewable sources of energy can possibly bolster Polish energetic security. The topics of panel discussions include: opportunities and risks for wind energy, effective and profitable bioenergy solutions, possibilities of private micro-installations development and the importance of renewable sources of energy for the municipalities' development.

The conference is addressed to representatives of local and regional governments, industry organizations, specialists and investors from the sector of renewable sources of energy. Polish Member of Parliament, the Chairman of the Polish Economic Congress Foundation Waldemar Pawlak and another Member of Parliament, former Deputy Minister of Economy Mieczysław Kasprzak are both going to participate in the event.

The meeting is going to start at 9 a.m. on 12th May in Eastern Innovative Centre for Architecture of the Lublin University of Technology at ul. Nadbystrzycka 40 in Lublin.

Polish Congress for Renewable Energy - “Energy of Tomorrow” is a recurrent event. It consists of ten conferences held in major Polish cities: Wrocław, Bydgoszcz, Olsztyn, Białystok, Płock, Cracow, Kielce, Radom, Lublin and Katowice.

The congress aims at presenting the most recent prognoses and information on economy, legal regulations and practical issues related to investments in renewable energy sources in Poland. The lectures will cover the issues of photovoltaic, wind power, hydro-power, biomass and biogas. During each event, the Ministry of Economy presents updates on the progress in the works on draft Act on the renewable energy sources. In addition, the discussions held during the event will cover the most current issues of economy in relation to the situation of the region.

The Congress is organised by Zielona Strona Mocy sp. z o.o. under the honorary patronage of Mayor of the City of Lublin Krzysztof Żuk.
