‘For many Lublin citizens, Plac Litewski is a natural place for the New Year’s Eve celebrations. I kindly encourage you to enjoy this special time together at the New Year’s Eve Hits Night’, invites Krzysztof Żuk, Mayor of the City of Lublin.

All those gathered will be entertained by MK Momot & Kuligowski Band conducted by Tomasz Momot, featuring Kayah, Kasia Cerekwicka, Kuba Banach and Sławek Uniatowski. This will be a unique opportunity to listen to the concert stars and orchestra performing unusual repertoire in a new version.

The orchestra has prepared best Polish and foreign hits especially for the night. The songs’ new versions will be performed by an increased 20-men band together with the invited stars. Ania Karwan and Mateusz Krautwurst, Must be the Music and The Voice of Poland finalists, will also perform on the stage.

Tomasz Momot is the author of all the orchestra arrangements. Musicians making up the orchestra come either from Lublin itself or from the region and regularly cooperate with Polish top artists. Kuba Badach and Anna Karwan also come from the Lublin region.

The concert will be completed by the play of light, and performances will be accompanied by dancing couples’ performances.

At midnight, the city authorities will give their New Year’s wishes to the public and the sky will be illuminated by the fireworks display. The whole event will start at 8.30 p.m. and will last till around 1.00 a.m.

The concert preparations are currently under way. The orchestra’s rehearsals are already held at the Radio Lublin studio where they will be joined by the concert stars in December. This will be a one-off performance which will stay in the citizens memory for long.
