Opening of the Sports and Leisure Centre at ul. Łabędzia

The first citizens have already been to the pool. In the swimming pool’s hall there is a 25x16 metres sports pool and a 15x16 metres swimming and leisure pool with three lanes for swimming lessons. There is also a paddling pool for children and an 80 metres water slide going partly indoors and outdoors. There are grandstands for 115 people. There is also a separate place for neck massage, wall mounted jet massage, water-air massage, air geyser, water mushroom, air benches and jacuzzi. Sauna and steam room will be also available. 240 lockers and 20 changing rooms were created. In the sports part there is a volleyball and basketball court with dressing and sanitary facilities. There is also a gym with 15 training devices.
“Now, there is one more modern sports facility in Lublin. A new swimming pool and a court mean that there will be an easier access to swimming lessons, swimming schools, basketball and volleyball trainings and sports events. Investment will certainly have a positive effect on active lifestyle promotion among children and teenagers. These are also new opportunities for the potential of swimmers from the Lublin region,” says Krzysztof Żuk, Mayor of the City of Lublin.
The entire sports facility is adjusted to the needs of the disabled. The building was designed based on the composition of two blocks that make different architectural impressions and have dynamic forms.
The rehabilitation part, which is still under construction, will be also part of the centre at ul. Łabędzia. There will be e.g. massage, electrotherapy or phototherapy rooms.
The centre at ul. Łabędzia will be open from Monday to Friday at 6 a.m.-10 p.m. and from Saturday to Sunday at 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

REDUCED-FARE TICKET – children, students under age of 26, pensioners, veterans – based on the document that proves age/status and identity
PARENT TICKET – 15 minutes free, extra charge for each started minute – PLN 0,50
EXTRA CHARGE paid every time after leaving the centre in compliance with the price list
