Almost 380 posters have been hung all around the city. They depict ticket inspectors’ work in a humorous way. Thanks to the posters, the organisers want to develop a liking for tickets control and persons performing this work. The campaign is going to last till the end of August.

The posters for the campaign were created on the basis of works chosen in the last year’s competition. It consisted in presenting a short funny cartoon scenario and brief statements concerning ticket control. Three best stories were printed as the campaign posters.

The competition and the ongoing campaign are the activities aiming at shedding the negative and stereotypical image of a ticket inspector working in public transport and making the inhabitants aware of the importance of this profession. The organisers convince that this is a difficult, sometimes even dangerous, but still underestimated profession.
The Urban Transport Board [Zarząd Transportu Miejskiego, ZTM] puts a great emphasis on the right selection of ticket inspectors. Determined work standards have also been applied. The ticket inspectors working for ZTM in Lublin ought to have appropriate predispositions. These are composed and outgoing people who can handle difficult situations.
