The city of Lublin and Lublin NGOs tighten cooperation with the most important organisations and institutions supporting refugees.
Our activities are also supported by foreign organisations, such as the Danish Refugee Council (DRC). Its representatives, along with Ms. Charlotte Sente, were for two days in Lublin and in the area of the Polish-Ukrainian border.
Together with the Homo Faber Association (coordinating the work of the Lublin Social Committee to Aid Ukraine), the City of Lublin and DRC, will undertake joint actions regarding the refugee crisis case.
Danish Refugee Council is a leading, international humanitarian displacement organisation, supporting refugees and internally displaced persons during displacement, in exile, when settling and integrating in a new place or upon return. We provide protection and life-saving humanitarian assistance. We support displaced persons in becoming self-reliant and included into hosting societies - and we work with communities, civil society and responsible authorities to promote protection of rights and peaceful coexistence.
The Homo Faber Association (HF) is a Lublin non-governmental organization dealing with human rights, founded in 2004. It co-creates the Granica Group providing humanitarian aid to people crossing the Polish-Belarusian border. From February 24, 2022, it coordinates the work of the Lublin Welfare Committee for Ukraine. The Committee currently serves 17 different areas of support for refugees from Ukraine, including a telephone hotline in Polish and Ukrainian.
