On February 7, 2024, we hosted a group of representatives of the City of Luleå from Sweden in Lublin. The main topics of the discussions included: drafting 2030 Lublin Development Strategy; foreign students; green transformation, challenges and solutions on civic engagement and finally implementing multi-partner projects.
The Agenda included meetings with Mr Andrzej Wojewódzki, City Secretary and Mr Krzysztof Stanowski, Director of the International Cooperation Centre. The delegation also had the opportunity to meet Ms Magdalena Gnyp-Ścigocka, Deputy Director of the Social Participation Office in the youth space ‘Hej!’. Ms Gnyp-Ścigocka gave an overview on functioning of youth spaces in the city and projects implemented with and for young people. Finally, the officials went to the Baobab Community Centre — a place for experiences exchange, implementing projects and meetings for migrants, refugees and Lublin's residents.
