Fourth wave of Covid-19 on the rise
02.11.202110:21

Number of Covid-19 cases is dynamically growing. Lately it has stayed at alarmingly high level. Please see below for the statistics, restrictions currently in place and vaccination options.

Recently Lublin Province, Lublin city included, has the highest rate of infections per 10 thousand residents in Poland. It is the biggest surge Poland-wide.

Low vaccination rate among residents is to blame for the high dynamics. Figures of fully vaccinated people are as follows – ca. 44% (for the province) and 54% (for Lublin city). Hence, we kindly remind that vaccines save lives, help you stay healthy, and prevent severe Covid-19.

You can register for vaccines:

  • by calling National Vaccination Programme toll-free number: 989,

  • by calling a vaccination centre of your choice,

  • by sending a text to 664 908 556 with ‘SzczepimySie’ in the body of the text,

  • by signing up through e-registration on pacjent.gov.pl.

At the same time, we kindly remind about restrictions in force. By adhering you help preventing the virus spread. Make sure you:

- cover your mouth and nose in closed spaces,
- maintain a distance of at least 1.5 metres between people,
- adhere to the strict sanitary regime in cultural and entertainment venues (museums, art galleries, cinemas, theatres, etc.)
- comply with a 10-day quarantine for unvaccinated persons upon entry to Poland.

More information about the current rules can be found on Government of the Republic of Poland website.
