Jewish Culture Festival - Lubliner Festival in September

Jewish Culture Festival - Lubliner Festival in September
31.08.202011:21

We would like to invite all interested people to take part in the first edition of a new event on a socio‑cultural map of Lublin. Jewish Culture Festival - Lubliner Festival is a project to fill the gap left behind by the former Jewish district. The event will be held in September, 8-13.

During this time, the Jewish tradition will be presented through music, performances, meetings and educational activities. The participants will dispute over Jewish culture - primarily its present façade but also its past and input in the history of Lublin. The mirror of the Festival reflects the diversity, richness and profundity of it.

The festival will be held in Lublin, among others, in the building of the former elite rabbinical school - Yeshiva Chachmei (College of Wise Men) in Lublin. This year, the yeshiva celebrates its 90th anniversary.
