The current epidemiological report (as of April1st, 2020)

  • 36 new cases reported in Poland  / 0 new cases in Lublin Region
  • 2,347 people infected in total / 35 deaths

Please remember that below are effective from today:

  • seniors over 65 only will be served in shops between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
  • restrictions apply on the number of the customers in shops: (3 people per 1 cash register), marketplaces (3 people per 1 stand), post offices (2 people per 1 counter)
  • hairdresser’s, beauty salons and tattoo parlours are to remain closed. Business cannot not be done outside the premises – at homes or anywhere else. 

Local news: Lublin biotech company Biomaxima, announced the introduction of genetic tests for SARS-CoV-2 detection to its offer.

The company says that ‘innovative technologies, made BioMaxima S.A. tests stand out from any other tests used today (…) results are available just in 2 hours and are more accurate than others. We hope that our test will make a substantial contribution in COVID-19 fight. We are also a proud member of Lublin medical cluster’.
