COVID-19 Update:

  • 296 new cases reported in Poland
  • 8 new cases in Lublin Region
  • 8214 people infected in total
  • 318 deaths in total

Current affairs:

Phasing out restrictions related to COVID-19:

First stage – from April 20, 2020

More people could be shopping at the same time:

  • in stores with an area of less than 100 m2 - maximum amount of customers who could be shopping at the same time, will result from the number of all cash registers or payment points multiplied by 4.
  • in stores with an area of more than 100 m2 – maximum amount of customers who could be shopping at the same time, will result from the area of the shop: every 15 m2 of surface / 1 customer.

Ability to move around for recreational purposes:

  • open parks and forests
  • the possibility of jogging and cycling

​​Playgrounds still remain closed.

Remember: when you are outside you are obliged to cover your face!

Religious cult:

  • the number of people who will be able to participate in a religious rite will depend on the temple's area: 1 person / 15 m2
  • teenagers over 13 years old would be able to move around without adult supervision

Remember: to keep a distance of 2 m from others and the obligation to cover the mouth and nose!

The further decision on phasing out will be introduced gradually when the incidence increase would be low. This does not mean that we should give up social discipline, because we are still obliged to comply with applicable restrictions.

Please remember that it depends on us, how quickly we introduce the next stages of return to a new reality!

Lublin and Polish cities will wait for tourists

The largest Polish cities - Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań and Gdańsk launched the #CityWillWait campaign to counter the effects of an epidemic that causes losses in urban tourism. Today, Lublin is joining four metropolises with the slogan #LublinWillWait. Thus, it encourages you to plan your stay in the capital of the Lublin region.

In accordance with the slogan #miastopoczeka, activities carried out in social media are to promote local products and attractions of individual metropolises, and at the same time to encourage residents to familiarize themselves with the tourist offer of other cities involved in the action. It is also a promise for tourists that individual centres will be prepared to host them after the epidemic.

Soldiers of Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade volunteered as blood donors

The soldiers volunteered as blood donors at the Regionalne Centrum Krwiodawstwa i Krwiolecznictwa in Lublin. The action was organised in response to appeals from medical institutions regarding the replenishment of blood resources.
