COVID-19 Update:

  • 285 new cases reported in Poland
  • 2 new cases in Lublin Region
  • 11902 people infected in total
  • 562 deaths in total

Current information:

The plan of re-establishing sport activity was presented:

On April 25, the government presented a plan to re-establish sports activities. The first stage has entered into force therefore from April 20 you can train individually. The remaining stages are as follows:

Second Stage: 

From May 4, the following sport facilities will be available:

  • for up to 6 people:

- sports stadiums (football, athletics and other),

- school and multi-purpose fields (including Orliki),

- external infrastructure for motor sports and aviation,

- golf courses,

- equestrian centres and open facilities such as: shooting ranges, archery tracks, go-kart tracks, roller-skating and roller-track tracks.

  • for up to 2 people:

- outdoor infrastracture for water sports: canoes, boats, water bikes

  • for up to 4 people per one court

- tennis courts: open and semi-open.

Regarding to use open infrastructure, the following security principles will apply:

  • keeping the social distance,
  • the obligation to cover your face (when you reach a given sports facility, while on a pitch you are not required to cover your face),
  • limited numer of people,
  • verification of participants (notification to the manager of facility persons entering the facility),
  • no possibility to use the dressing room and sanitary facility (except toilet),
  • disinfection of devices after each use and each group,
  • obligatory hand disinfection for persons entering and leaving the facility,
  • use of personal training equipment or disinfection after each use.

Third Stage:

- sport activities in school halls,

  •  for up to 6 people:

- group training in professional sports,

- opening more sports centers for Olympians and professionals.

Fourth stage:

- providing access to closed infrastructure related to sport, entertainment and recreation:

  • Clubs: fitness, dance, table tennis, sqash, badminton, swimming pools, gyms, bowling alleys, trampoline parks, skateparks, climbing walls and others.
  • Sports events in the open air for up to 50 people, without spectators participation.

Rules for using built-up infrastructure:

  • keeping social distance, 
  • face covering (depending on the type of sport),
  • limited number of people,
  • verification of participants, reporting people entering the facility,
  • no possibility to use the dressing room and sanitary facility (except toilet),
  • disinfection of devices after each use and each group,
  • obligatory hand disinfection for persons entering and leaving the facility,
  • using personal training equipment (e.g. tennis rackets, helmet, etc.).

Return of PKO Ekstraklasa and Speedway PGE Ekstraliga

At this time, it is estimated that the 27th round of PKO Ekstraklasa will take place from May 29-31. The start of the PGE Ekstraliga games without supporters is planned for June 12.

Extending the suspension of activities in schools and universities until May 24

Students continue their studies in a remote form. Researchers can continue their research at universities, while maintaining safe conditions that take into account the current state of threat to employees' health.

The anticipated dates for this year’s exams are known

The government has provided anticipated dates for this year's exams. The Minister of National Education Dariusz Piontkowski expressed the hope that the epidemic situation will allow to carry out the planned examinations while maintaining security requirements. "Each student will sit in a separate bench to make examinations safe for students, teachers and their families," said the head of the education department.

  • Eighth grade exam from June 16 to June 18
  • Matura exam from June 8 to June 29

Professional exams:

June 22 - July 9 exam confirming qualifications in the profession in the formula of 2012 and 2017

August 17 – August 28 exam confirming qualifications in the profession in the formula of 2019

Matura exam, other dates:

  • Additional exams – beginning of July, results up to August 11
  • Make-up exams – beginning of September, results until the end of September

Note! Due to the epidemiological situation, there will be no oral part of the Matura exams, only written exams will take place.
