Useful information:

From June 13, the borders will be opened - border controls will be carried out randomly

From Saturday, June 13, Poles will not have to undergo compulsory quarantine after returning to Poland. What is more, European Union citizens will be able to enter Poland without any obstacles. It is due to lifting the temporary border controls at the EU internal borders. Moreover, on the night of 12/13 June, Poland restores a full border traffic within the internal borders of the European Union. It enables the services present at the border carrying out random checks. Exactly as it was before the coronavirus pandemic and the introduction of border restrictions in Poland. From Saturday 13 June you will be able to travel freely and cross the internal borders of the European Union. Travelers will regain the right to a free entry, exit and transit through the territory of the Republic of Poland without an obligatory quarantine. Countries neighbouring Poland have already been informed about the actions taken by the Polish government. Owing to this, they should have time to prepare for changes. However, the EU's external borders remain closed.

Municipal nurseries will be open during the holidays

Municipal nurseries will be open during the summer holidays. Residents of Lublin will benefit from their full offer in July and August this year. The City has decided to depart from the holiday shift rule to support working parents.

More than 300 children have been provided with a care in municipal nurseries due to the imposed epidemic limits so far. Currently, the government is introducing supervison for children who are less than 3 years old. This will allow us to increase the number of places for children up to 460 starting June 15. The most important factor is the safety of both our youngest residents and the staff of nurseries. We have developed a series of detailed procedures so that parents can safely leave their children. The successive increase in the number of places in the nurseries will therefore relate to a modification of the already developed rules. - says Monika Lipińska, Deputy Mayor of Lublin.

In July and August, all facilities that are part of the Municipal Nursery Complex in Lublin will be open. There are 9 nurseries (with 1209 places). All municipal facilities resumed their childcare activities on May 18. In accordance with the recommendations of the Chief Sanitary Inspector, the maximum number of children placed in the nurseries has been introduced.  Detailed information on a holiday care, place limits and rules for providing childcare can be obtained at the Municipal Nursery Complex in Lublin, ul. Wolska 5, phone: 81 466 49 91, e-mail: mzz@zlobki.lublin.eu, from 7.30 to 15.30.
