Lublin helps Ukraine - anniversary of the outbreak of war

On February 23 - 25, Lublin will host events commemorating the anniversary of the outbreak of the full-scale Russian war in Ukraine. Those events will show Lublin and its residents' engagement in helping Ukraine and ukrainians over the last year.

Official events on 24 February:

  • 12.00 - performance of the national anthems of Poland, Ukraine and the European Union by Academos Choir and Wanda Kaniorowa “Lublin” Folk and Dance Ensemble accompanied by the ukrainian students, the steps of the Town Hall, Pl. Łokietka 1
  • 12.30  - opening of the exhibition "Lublin helps Ukraine". The exhibition presents the aid activities of Lublin and its inhabitants addressed to Ukrainian citizens. The exhibition shows the scale of  support and how many initiatives and activities were undertaken in the last year. In the photographic frame are the people, thanks to whom help could be provided during this difficult time. The exhibition will be presented until March 31, 2023
  • 13:30 - presentation of "Lublin to the Heroes" medals for Lublin firms involved in the support of refugees and transferring humanitarian aid to Ukraine, venue: Crown Tribunal
