Lublin is proud to provide its residents with an exceptional quality of life. Otodom, the leading real estate website in Poland has announced Lublin the safest city in Poland in its latest ranking. The City performed strongly in categories as: communication, living costs, ecology, good neighborly relations, availability of shops and cultural attractions as well as safety. Over 120,000 people participated in the study.

Additionally, for the second consecutive year, the same Polish cities were ranked Driver-Friendly Cities 2019 by Oponeo automotive website. Lublin has reigned supreme in a group with over 300 thousand inhabitants. Various aspects were considered including parking, number of collisions, fuel prices, speed travel, cost of changing tires, the insurance price, eco-driving and car-sharing while awarding this prestigious title.

On numerous occasions, the potential of Polish cities has already been acknowledged and appreciated by international entities, companies and institutions. Now the time has come for the acclaim of analysts representing fDi Intelligence, a service from the Financial Times. Specialists conducted a major research dedicated to Polish metropolises, that outcome was presented with breakdown into five categories:

  • Economic Potential,
  • Human Capital,
  • Cost Effectiveness,
  • Connectivity
  • Business Friendliness.

In the annual 'Polish Cities of the Future 2019/20' ranking, Lublin came top in two categories among large cities - 2nd in 'Cost Effectiveness' and the 6th position in “Human Capital and Lifestyle”. Development of local tourism and culture, long life expectancy, health care, a substantial number of students, both domestic and international, as well as extensive networks of childcare facilities were the most crucial values of the city considered by fDi Magazine.

The "Report on Polish Metropolitan Cities" drawn up by PwC shows plainly, that Lublin is one of the most captivating metropolitan cities to live in Poland. Lublin was ranked 7th place in the "Real GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth in Poland in 2004-2018" report. Considering the benefits of Lublin such as a very good condition of the natural environment, sense of security among residents and civic activity, the city has an opportunity to reshape into a dynamic and prosperous metropolis. According to PwC report the essential condition for the success is the full use of the city's role as a knowledge and cultural centre of the region.

The rankings prove that Lublin is an outstanding place for its dwellers to live, study and to work. It is also a superb venue for entrepreneurs from all over the world to invest and expand their companies effectively in a local business-friendly environment.
