This Summer for Lublin will be quite exceptional as we approach the second edition of the grand Lubliner Festival. Once again, we invite everyone willing to learn about the actually not-so-distant Jewish past of our city to join us on a path of cultural rediscovery. The event will take place in August, 3-8. The festival will present a great opportunity to educate us all not only on Jewish heritage of Lublin but also contemporary Jewish and Israeli culture. The audience will learn it through music by listening to the beautiful performance of the world-famous cantor Israel Nachman (Israel), legendary MILO CURTIS Ensemble band with Wojciech Waglewski (PL), energetic BOOM PAM (Israel) or acclaimed Kayah & Transoriental Orchestra (PL), among many others. We will witness the work of Warsaw Jewish Theatre actors in the “Last Son” play and take part in numerous educational activities and workshops.
10 events will be streamed online.
Lubliner Festival also means a chance to join multiple tours around the entire city, allowing the participants not only to broaden their knowledge of the Jewish history but also to see how it is still being written today.
