We are pleased to announce that registration for 12th edition of Cross-Border Cooperation Congress Lublin 2023 has already been launched!

We encourage you to fill out a form on www.kongres.lublin.eu website. Cross-Border Cooperation Congress 2023 will be held on October, 9-11 in Lublin (with online streaming). This year, Lublin is European Youth Capital and therefore, the Congress is guided by ‘City of Youth’ as a predominant theme.

Representatives of self-governments, NGOs, business, academia and culture from the European Union and Eastern Partnership countries will meet in Lublin. For years now, Cross-Border Cooperation Congress has been a meeting place for exchanging experiences, supporting good practices and finding new international partners. This year, as European Youth Capital 2023, we will focus and engage young people who play a crucial role in identifying urban challenges, often providing new perspectives and solutions - says Krzysztof Żuk, Mayor of Lublin

We have invited international experts and partners from Croatia, Czechia, Norway, Ukraine and the United Kingdom, among other countries, to discuss how to create youth-friendly cities and how local communities can support young people in meeting their needs and aspirations. During panels, workshops and study visits, we will create a space for discussion on civic engagement, local youth policies, youth workers, and how young people are changing the face of work and business.

And yet we are not forgetting about the challenges of the ongoing war, triggered by Russia's unprecedented attack on Ukraine, and its long-term effects, particularly acute for a generation of young people. In light of this, we will mainly debate on shaping youth policies with youth participation, on strategic goals of working with and for young people, the migration background, the role of youth in intercultural dialogue and in combating discrimination. Study visits to places where projects for the youth are carried out, are a significant factor of the Congress agenda.

This year, the Grants’ Fair will be devoted to Norwegian and EEA Funds, Interreg NEXT Programme Poland-Ukraine 2021-2027 and International Visegrad Fund while the Partners' Forum will showcase youth organisations and current opportunities to get involved in projects for youngsters. As every year, the Congress will be accompanied by a programme of cultural events.

Moreover, Congress will be streamed online, with simultaneous Polish, English and Ukrainian interpretation.

Free registration and a detailed programme are available at , tel. +48 81 466 66 41 (PL, EN) and +48 81 466 66 05 (UA).

See you in Lublin!
