Planes are going to take off from Lublin on Mondays and Fridays at 1:00 p.m. and land in Rome Fiumicino Airport at approximately 3.30 p.m. The flights from Rome are going to depart at 9.40 a.m. landing in Lublin at 12.15 p.m. The carrier’s offer enables people to fly just for the weekends as well as facilitates longer stays. Convenient timing of the flights makes it possible to change to Alitalia airline towards many European destinations or cities all over Italy.

- Lublin Airport gradually introduces new destinations and constantly builds a net of connections. Rome is one of the most eagerly anticipated travelling directions primarily because of touristic value but also due to its business attractiveness. I would like to emphasize that launching of the new flights was made possible thanks to the efforts of Lublin Airport’s Management and it constitutes a tangible proof of real cooperation between friend cities – Lublin and Timisoara in Romania, says Krzysztof Żuk, Mayor of the City of Lublin

Flights are going to be operated by Carpatair’s Fokker 100 aircrafts. Such airliners may carry 100 passengers. You can book flights on the carrier’s website: www.carpatair.com or Lublin Airport’s website: www.airport.lublin.pl. One way ticket prices that include hand luggage and checked baggage start from EUR 79.

- I am glad that this year, we can offer our passengers a new destination. It is already the second Italian city in our timetable. The date is not random. It enables planning a trip for the canonization of John Paul II. We hope that the flights will be popular not only among Polish immigrants or tourists but also among pilgrims travelling to Vatican City, says Krzysztof Wójtowicz, President of the Management Board of Lublin Airport.

Rome is not only an economic and political heart of Italy. It is also one of the most popular tourist centers with a vast array of monuments. At every corner tourists may admire beautiful buildings, picturesque squares and ancient ruins reflecting rich history of the city. The Colosseum, the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain are just a few of many tempting attractions of the Italian capital.

Rome is the second city in Italy were passengers may travel from Lublin Airport. On February 28 Eurolot Airlines introduced flights from Lublin to Milan. Carpatair is the fourth carrier that offers regular flights from our city. Currently, we can enjoy travelling with Wizz Air, Ryanair and Eurolot to such destinations as Oslo, London (two airports: Stansted and Luton), Dublin, Gdańsk and Milan.
