Creating the centre at Arena Lublin is an opportunity to commemorate Lublin’s rich sports history. The exhibition’s aim is not only to serve the sports community, but also the residents of Lublin who will get the chance to get to know the rich history and details of today’s results achieved by Lublin’s athletes.
The residents of the city can get actively involved in the creation of the Centre for Sports History. Municipal Sports and Leisure Centre [Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji, MOSiR] is looking for souvenirs which are connected with the history of sport and could be used to make the exhibition. Photos, sportswear, balls, bicycles, speedway motorcycles, athletic accessories as well as any other tokens of sports history are sought after. The exhibits will be accepted both in the form of permanent gifts or temporary loans.
Permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of sport in our region will be situated in Arena Lublin on ul. Stadionowa 1. The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for December 2015.
