Bajon, who directed such blockbusters as Śluby panieńskie [Maidens' vows] or Przedwiośnie [The Coming Spring] presents a completely new perspective of the timeless comedy Moralność Pani Dulskiej (The Morality of Mrs Dulska) written by Gabriela Zapolska. The movie is set in three different time dimensions: the beginning of the 20th century, year 1954 and present day.
Actors and actresses, who have not been seen on screen for quite a long time, will play in this movie. These are well-known actors: Krystyna Janda, Katarzyna Figura, Maja Ostaszewska, Mateusz Kościukiewicz, Sonia Bohosiewicz, Katarzyna Herman, Olgierd Łukaszewicz, Władysław Kowalski and many others.
The movie is produced in the biggest Polish film studio: Wytwórnia Filmów Dokumentalnych i Fabularnych, where such movies as Generał Nil [General Nil], Galerianki [Mall Girls], Facet (nie)potrzebny od zaraz [Boyfriend (not)needed right away] or Wojtek Smarzowski's Róża [Rose] were produced.
The movie is partially financed by the Polish Film Institute and the City of Lublin, where the movie's action takes place.
Film set is situated in Warsaw and, until February 9, in Lublin. Panie Dulskie will screen in theatres in October 2015. The movie will be distributed by Kino Świat.
