Let’s Unblock Lublin!

Let’s Unblock Lublin!

The initiative is a joint venture between the Municipal Transport Company Lublin Ltd., the City Office of Lublin, the Municipal Transport Authority, and the Lublin Development Forum and Cycling Agreement initiative (“Porozumienie Rowerowe”).

The iconic image of the campaign is the juxtaposition of two photographs: one showing 45 cars parked at the Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy) and the other showing only one public transport bus parked at the almost empty Castle Square. It has been calculated that using public transportation is twenty times cheaper than using private vehicles.

Billboards promoting public transport have already been installed at the Main Bus Station (PKS), at Nadbystrzycka Street and at the Roundabout next to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) building. Moreover, interior bus posters promoting the campaign have been placed inside buses and trolleybuses, and in December promotional posters will also be installed at bus stations.
