Lublin City Bike system comes back earlier

Let us remind you that new racks and bikes will be introduced to the Lublin City Bike System this season. In 2015 the system will consist of 80 racks and 800 bikes. Currently, the operator is conducting negotiations with commercial entities whose stations will help expand the system.
Locations of racks will be chosen on the basis of over 350 proposals that were put forward by the residents. The factors that are important when choosing the location are, among others, the number of residents living in its vicinity, the distance between the location and the nearest racks, the popularity of the route, etc. That is why the new stations will most probably appear in the districts where there had not been any racks before (e.g. Rudnik/Ponikwoda, new districts on ul. Jana Pawła II), in districts where the distance to the existing racks is relatively long (e.g. Sławin, Sławinek, Tatary) and near Lublin universities. Additionally, there will be a bigger concentration of the racks in the city centre. The development will most probably take place this June.
