Completion of the first stage of the investment is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2016. The whole complex should be finished within the next five years. It’s the biggest investment of its kind in the region and throughout the Eastern Poland. Currently, Lublin's modern office space market is amounted to approx. 150 thousand sq. m. Because of that, Lublin is located on the eighth place in Poland in terms of supply and providing the most modern offices in the Eastern Poland. Thanks to the new investment, Lublin market will become more competitive in comparison to e.g. Łódź, Katowice and Bydgoszcz, and in terms of the office space availability it will be significantly ahead of e.g. Szczecin.



"This investment enhances Lublin potential in terms of business facilities in the Eastern Poland. According to the average conversion rate, there are approx. 100 people working on the one thousand square meters. It means that in the new complex in Helenów, 8-10 thousand people may be able to find employment till 2020. These modern offices provide the opportunity to develop existing businesses, and due to the attractive rental prices it appeals to new companies, including foreign ones. We make every endeavour to attract as many investments of this kind as possible," said Krzysztof Żuk, Mayor of the City of Lublin, during a press conference.
The project of the four main buildings, which will be first constructed within the new midtown commercial and residential zone, is ready. The group Centrum Zana is currently waiting for the building permit. According to the plan, the complex works will start in March. Two 14-storey office blocks (18 and 20 thousand square meters of the office and service area respectively) will be built at the intersection of al. Kraśnicka and ul. Nałęczowska. One smaller office block will have six floors and the second one will be a seven-storey residential building (12 thousand square meters each). First rooms will have been given to the new owners by the end of 2016. The whole complex will be completed with a six-storey building along al. Kraśnicka, which will be ready within the next 5 years. The estimated market value of the four immobilities, which will be built in the first stage, will exceed PLN 360 million.



Construction of the complex on the former depot is good news for the entire region. Only during construction works within the next 7 years, approx. 300-400 people will constantly work there. Centrum Zana is going to cooperate with their regular subcontractors: it will be almost 30 companies from Lublin and the region. It is estimated that 8-10 thousand people will be working in the finished complex.
