Opening of House of Words

The underlying principle of House of Words is to emphasize the importance of written and oral word in cultural and social domain, including the role of free speech as a key factor in bringing about social and political changes. In addition to actions that promote the process of making books (i.e. print, graphics, typography), programmes that encourage book reading itself among general public are being carried out. House of Words is located in the very centre of Lublin inner city; hence socially orientated projects are targeted at people living in the area.

House of Words was officially opened on October 3
