Lublin residents will have an opportunity to make use of city bikes till the end of November provided that the weather remains favourable. The bicycle riders have enjoyed the beautiful weather so far.
Lublin City Bike is one of the biggest systems in Poland. Riders will be able to make use of 420 bikes located in 42 bike stations. The next bike station sponsored by Tarasy Zamkowe has become the part of the system. The system is going to be redeveloped next year. Another 40 stations and 400 bikes will be added to the existing ones. Two stations equipped with bikes for children will be another novelty. Apart from that, partners from Świdnik will be engaged in the development of the system where 5 stations and 41 bikes will be located.
Forty thousand bicycle riders who hired bikes over half a million times constitute the annual, September balance of LRM (Lublin City Bike) system. The most popular cycle route among the bicycle riders goes from ul. Zana to ul. Nadbystrzycka.
Nearly 753 new users were registered in September and bikes were hired 36000 times.
