The Mayor of Lublin Krzysztof Żuk Awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta

The award ceremony was held on Tuesday in Presidential Palace during the Day of Territorial Self-Government celebrations. During the ceremony, the President of the Republic of Poland presented diplomas and flags to “Majówka z Polską” [May trips with Poland] prize winners. The City of Lublin was awarded for the Most Beautifully Lighted Public Building – Lublin City Hall. The Day of Territorial Self-Government is celebrated in remembrance of the first democratic municipal elections in Poland which took place on 27 May 1990.
