9th Ukrainian Poetry and Prose Recitation Contest

The Cultural Education Department of the Centre for Culture in Lublin is pleased to announce
that the 9th Ukrainian Poetry and Prose Recitation Contest, Polish-Ukrainian Meetings of Masters of Words, will be held March 6-7, 2014. The contest is held under the auspices of: - Ivan Hrycak, Consul General of Ukraine in Lublin - Krzysztof Żuk, Mayor of Lublin - Krzysztof Babisz, Lublin Region Chief Education Officer Co-organized by: - MCSU Centre for Eastern Europe in Lublin - Poland-East Cooperation Association – Polish-Ukrainian Society - Municipal Cultural Centre in Lublin – Department for Culture of the Lublin City Office – Department for Education of the Lublin City Office The 9th Ukrainian Poetry and Prose Recitation Contest is open to both permanent and temporary residents in Poland, students and adults. The objective of the contest is to promote Ukrainian literature in Poland, establish cultural bonds between Poles and Ukrainians, help them improve their artistic skills and compare creative achievements. To register, fill in the ENTRY FORM and send it by 25 February, 2014 by mail of email.
