A City for Children

A City for Children

Why do we need to take care of common spaces, how to build a colorful shelter and who are garden partisans – these are only some of the problems raised in “A City for Children,” a publication for both adults and children by Ewelina Kruszyńska.

Read the publication  >>> A CITY FOR CHILDREN

A mysterious perpetrator is painting blocks of flats in many cities. Evidently he did not pay much attention during the art classes at school.  He only knows three colors: yellow like  a baby’s sleepyhead, green like a pea soup and peach like a granny’s slip.
With its accessibly presented content and witty illustrations, the publication serves as a pretext for every engaged parent to play with the child, to get to know the  city together and to help explain to the child problems connected with urban space. The publication ”A City for Children” will also come in handy for teachers. The chapters are written in such a way as to help them prepare scenarios of educational classes that will make school walks and trips more interesting.
The children have already tested this book. The difficulty of the publication’s content as well as its accessibility and appeal for children were verified during ten control workshops held at Elementary School No. 24 in Lublin and Ignacy Paderewski International Elementary School in Lublin.
We strongly encourage you to read, download and print this publication. ”A City for Children” is made available under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial Use 3.0 Poland license, which means that you can use it freely at home and at school.
