The Studio of Socially Engaged Art “Rewiry” announces a call for submissions to the 4th edition of Art on the Market: A Polish-Polish War. We are looking forward to receiving projects of installations, site-specific and other projects that depict or comment upon on the so-called ”Polish-Polish War.”
The 4th edition of Art on the Market focuses on problems of today’s Poland with respect to political, religious and cultural contexts as well as everyday, neighbourly relations. The stress is put on Poles’ inner conflict, their personal attitude to the place where they were born and live, with all consequences included.
Following relevant preparations, the event will be held on 13 September 2015 on the premises of Lublin’s largest agri-food marketplace in Elizówka. The deadline for submissions is 15 August 2015.
We will select the most interesting entries that best comply with the idea of the competition. Their authors will display the works on the marketplace and receive a royalty.
