Awards for the "Mały Głusk” Folk Dance Ensemble

On July 6, 2014 the ”Mały Głusk” Folk Dance Ensemble celebrated its 30th anniversary. On this occasion, the Mayor of Lublin, Mr. Krzysztof Żuk, awarded Mrs. Urszula Obara, the Ensemble’s founder, artistic director and choreographer, with the Mayor of Lublin Medal. Under the Lublin City Council’s resolution no. 745/XXX/2013 on specific conditions and mode of granting annual awards for achievements in the field of artistic work and culture promotion, the Mayor of Lublin awarded financial prizes to the following individuals: - Mrs. Urszula Obara; - Mr. Andrzej Gościło (artistic director of the Ensemble); - Mr. Stanisław Błach (Ensemble’s band member); - Mr. Adam Cegiełkowski (Ensemble’s band member).
