The ”Podushkowiec” Foundation invites parents and children to workshops organized as part of the Opening of the Cultural Center in Lublin.
September 22 (Sunday), 3 pm

Parents and children gather outdoors to assemble and decorate provided kite templates. Finished kites will be flown in front of the Cultural Center building.
September 24 (Tuesday), 5 pm
// Obrazki Natury (Pictures of Nature) // Cultural Center Cafe
Parents and children will learn hapa-zome, a simple Japanese handicraft technique of decorating fabric using plants. The technique involves beating leaves and plants onto fabric with a hammer to create imprints. Framed, they will make beautiful home ornaments. During the workshop, participants will also make holiday photo frames decorated with "gifts of nature."

The workshop involves creative converting of old, useless objects into new and useful products. Different waste materials (worn-out clothes, bottles, bottle tops and other recyclable materials) will be used to create unique jewellery, ornaments and toys.
