Ballroom dance is undoubtedly more than just a sophisticated art or spectacular sports discipline. Traditionally, it comprises only two dance styles: standard and Latin; with us, however, you will learn some other popular party dance styles, too. Participants will learn the following dances: standard dances (English Waltz, tango, Viennese Waltz, slowfox and quickstep); Latin dances (cha-cha, samba, rumba and jive); party dances (rock&roll and disco blues). Right after a couple of first lessons, you will feel the rhythm of southern music and the atmosphere of the biggest ball rooms. As a result of the regularly scheduled lessons, you will not have any problems moving to any kind of dance music. With time, participants will acquire the skill of combining figures easily; they will learn how to lead and follow as well as interpret and convey music. Although our lessons are primarily aimed at teaching practical skills of ballroom dance, they may also prove useful for participants who want to start professional dance practice. Even though lessons include elements of steady state training, they ensure having fun at the same time.
