Are you interested in film production and the ins and outs of making films? Are you are script writer who would like to improve the skills?
Or maybe you are a filmmaker and wish to develop your directing skills?

If on top of that you want to act to prevent discrimination and prejudice, then the free workshops "Lubelskie Plotkojady" are for you!

The workshops "Lubelskie Plotkojady" (Lublin Rumour-Eaters) is a unique opportunity to learn how to make short documentaries and feature films from experts in the field as well as to participate in the class on intercultural sensitivity and the Spanish ”anti-rumour” method. The participants will make a series of short virals on intercultural issues that will be incorporated into the anti-rumour campaign in Lublin. 
 Workshops start:14 January 2015 Workshop finish: 15 February 2015 
The programme: 
Introduction to anti-discrimination issues - 2 hrs Theoretical introduction to producing films - 4 hrs Short documentary forms /feature programmes/surveys (theoretical class) - 2 hrs How to make documentaries - 6 hrs
How to make feature films (theoretical class) - 2 hrs
How to write scripts for planned feature film scenes - 2 hrs
How to make feature films - 10 hrs

The workshops can hold a limited number of participants. 
The selected project participants are obliged to take part in the orientation meeting that will be held on 14 January at 5 pm. 
 The event is held as part of the project “Communication for Integration – C4I” (Komunikacja dla Integracji - C4I) to challenge rumours, prejudice and stereotypes about foreigners in Lublin. The project is run in 11 cities: Amadora (PT), Barcelona (ES), Bilbao (ES), Botkyrka (SE), Erlangen (DE), Limerick (IE), Loures (PT), Lublin (PL), Nuremberg (DE), Patras (GR) and Sabadell (ES).
