The Węglin Community Centre has published a book titled "Mother Fairy Tale Writer," a volume of fairy tales written and illustrated by 18 mothers from Lublin. The publication is the culmination of an over six-month-long project titled "Mother Fairy Tale Writer." During that time, the mothers took part in several workshop meetings on writing and illustrating fairy tales. The project masters included two mothers: Sylwia Chutnik and Magdalena Franczak. Our goal was to bring out what is the best in every mother: her individuality, creative imagination, life experiences and perception of art. The family premiere of the book was held December 15 with the participation of the authors and illustrators of the book and their families. Excerpts of the book were read out by Witold Kopeć, an actor associated with Juliusz Osterwa Theater in Lublin. On that day, an exhibition showing the works of the mothers illustrators was opened, too. The book can be purchased from the Węglin Community Centre. The official premiere of the book and a meeting with the authors will be held in the new year. Details will be given soon. The Mother Fable Writer project was originated by Mateusz Nowak from the Węglin Community Centre. The project is part of a series titled "We, Mothers." The matronage over the project was held by The MaMa Foundation. The media sponsor of the project is Radio Lublin.
