16.06.201409:24

The official premiere of Plug&Play's new single
, Orphan Ghost, will be held on June 16, 2014. Released by the independent label Too Many Fireworks, the work is a richly-arranged composition that is a logical continuation of the stylistics of the band’s EP Reisefieber. The composition is based on a catchy male-female vocals accompanied by a distinctively energetic motif that combines basses, synths and a hymnic chorus.
Plug&Play is a Polish band famous for combining eighties sounds with modern dance rhythms. A combination of electric and electronic sounds, often produced by unconventional instruments, female and male vocals and stylistic escapades, all these add to the uniqueness and originality of the band. The musicians have won the recognition of independent, opinion-making music journalists and bloggers. Their 2013 EP „Reisefieber” was voted by We Are From Poland the EP of the year. Plug&Play have fans both in Poland and abroad. Their concerts offer a portion of vital sounds and well-thought-out compositions performed in a totally committed way on stage. The single will premiere online on iTunes. Amazon, Bandcamp and Gogoyoko. It will also be available on Spotify and Wimp. The single will also include „Little Girl on a Big Bike”, a composition that stylistically reminds of the best of new wave bands of the 1980s, such as Simple Minds, Echo&Bunnymen or The Teardrop Explodes.
