Rounders Tournament

The SZTUCZNE Association invites you to take part in a rounders tournament
, held as the Polish Rounders Championship, October 5-6, 2013, at the Start Lublin Municipal Sports Centre. The tournament is organized as part of the International Festival of Traditional Games and Plays, an awareness action programme. The event is the first and only chance to see the beauty of the game of rounders, a traditional Polish sports discipline, live. The championship will host teams from all over Poland, including the current Polish Champion - LKL Cyprzanów. The purpose of the International Festival of Traditional Games and Plays organized by the SZTUCZNE Association, in cooperation with the Culture Workshops in Lublin, is to increase awareness of traditional Polish games and plays as part of traditional Polish culture. This year’s edition of the festival also includes free training courses for physical education teachers on promoting traditional Polish games and plays.
