The oldest and one of the biggest festivals presenting music inspired by folklore has been taking place since 1991. The aim of the event is to popularise traditional culture in all its aspects, mainly through the presentation of musician’s creative approach to musical folklore. It’s the festival tradition to organise a competition for young folk groups, and therefore this year Open Stage will also be part of the festival’s programme.
