The festival is oragnized by "Chatka Żaka” MCSU’s Academic Centre of Culture. The aim of the festival is to present theater groups from Polish academic environments. Last year there were also artists from Ukraine.
The name od the festival "Contestations" reflects the activities of independent theaters that want to combat schematic thinking and promote non-conformism. The festival does not have a form of competition to avoid the atmosphere of rivarly. Its main aim is to activate academic environments and arouse intrest in the theater.
The festival takes place from November 26 through 29.
