The festival is the place where outstanding composers of contemporary music, great instrumentalists and talented musicians reconstructing and performing archaic musical traditions meet and create. Most of the concerts presented at the festival premiere pieces commissioned by the organisers. The 9th edition of the Codes will be devoted to theatrical elements in music, in which theatre and music are equally important.
