Starting from 1 August, the Central Playground will offer a month filled with a wide variety of attractions, workshops, film screenings, meetings and games. A specially prepared Urban Sports Zone equipped with a music station will come to life again, and the Courtyard will again host unusual music, educational and animation events. 10.00 AM Boardmania – Board and Card Games Festival
Throughout the entire month the Centre for Culture in Lublin will offer an opportunity to use the huge library of games from the collections of the Lublin Fantasy Association ”Cytadela Syriusza”; at weekends there will be theme events, lectures, tournaments and prize contests. There will also be meetings with leading Polish game producers and designers who will share their knowledge and experience as well as reveal their release schedules. The meeting held on the opening day will be mainly devoted to history games.
12.00 AM: Urban Sports Zone
The Central Playground has been connected with urban sports from its very beginning. On 1 August it will launch a newly designed Sport Urban Sports Zone together with free workshops, contests and shows of such sports disciplines as Parkour, Freerun, Street Workout, Skateboard, BMX, Fresstyle Football, Slackline. Music will be provided by DJ DBT.
4 PM: Lublin Battle (qualifying selection)
One of the most fierce music battles is back after three years! The finalists will receive valuable prizes and will have an opportunity to showcase their skills at the final of the Chonabibe Festival. The entrants will compete in two categories:
1. music production – jury: Zetena Golden (Złote Twarze [Golden Faces]) and Adam L,
2. beatbox – jury: Pejot, Crashu Beatbox and MuzaMan.
10 PM: HV / NOON Live + Małpa – concert / tickets: 10 PLN
This unprecedented project in the history of Polish music is an outcome of a year-long collaboration between two renowned producers. The artists combine contemporary genres of urban music, creating at the same time a coherent and unique story. In Lublin they will play live supported by a percussion and rapper Małpa.
