Lublin has entered the last phase of the European Capital of Culture competition. On Monday, June 13, Lublin will be visited by four representatives of the Selection Panel: Joanna Kiliszek, Constantin Chiriac, Jacek Purchla and Andreas Wiesand who will evaluate our work on the ECC bid.
The experts will spend one day in our city and they will visit cultural institutions, for instance “Grodzka Gate - NN Theater” Center, Workshops of Culture, and the Lublin Museum. They will also see Holy Trinity Chapel, the Union of Lublin Room at the Dominican Monastery, and the Crown Tribunal. The schedule also includes meetings with Lublin artists.
The visit will culminate with a great happening organized by ECC Volunteers. The City of Lublin and ECC 2016 project office would like to invite artists, culture animators and all citizens to take part in this event. It will be a chance to support Lublin as the ECC candidate and also welcome the experts. The event will start at 7.00pm at Litewski Square.
