Workshops of Culture invites for the experimental music workshops conducted by Joel Grip from Sweden.
Joel Grip is a very talented Swedish bass player and producer who despite his young age has already managed to cause a considerable stir in the musical world. He was tutored by Michael Formanek – bass player and composer who teaches at Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, USA, which is where Joel completed his musical training. Nowadays, he mostly performs solo but also appears in many international projects carried out in the US, Central America, Japan, China, India and Europe. He cooperates with such artists as: The Jolly-Boat Pirates, Protectograph, Shelly Blake Music, Sofia Jernberg (duet) , Barnö (duet), and also performs in Roland Keijser Quartet. The Swedish label Umlaut Records is also one of Joel's children. He watches over the company as its owner but often also takes up the role of a producer.
