The Jagiellonian Fair in Lublin was classified 8th in the ranking of the top ten mass cultural events in Poland. The raking was published in this month’s “Atrakcje” magazine.
The Fair, although relatively recent (it was first organized two years ago), was included among such events as St Dominic’s Fair, Woodstock Festival, or New Year’s Eve in Wrocław and Kraków.
The article published together with the rankings says that a good event is priceless, and a well-organized cultural event may create a huge chance for the region’s or city’s development. Mass events are also a great example of cooperation between numerous institutions and people and such cooperation may encourage everyone involved to increase their efforts.
