This year’s edition in its international part is a continuation of fascinating explorations of the Russian theatre.
We will se, among others, the winner of this year’s Moscow Golden Mask Festival, RAMT Theatre, Playwright and Director Centre, Moscow or the Nikolay Kolyada Theatre. And as if that wasn’t enough, Dogstar Theatre Company, awarded at Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, will perform its last production. The presence of theatres from the USA and Great Britain is a hint of the direction the festival is taking from next year on. It will confront the Russian theatre tradition with other strong theatre cultures from Europe and the rest of the world. What is new this year is a special presentation of Lublin theatres. For two festival days it will be possible to see almost all artists working in Lublin. The events that will accompany the festival include: meetings with artists, presentations of future projects in the festival club, concerts and a review of the most interesting Russian films of the last two seasons.
