Lublin project “Lublin – Lviv: Cinematic Cities” was selected for the EUROCITIES awards-shortlist. Our entry describing co-operation of Lublin and Lviv, partner cities, within a specific area - promotion of both cities, directed to movie branch. There are three categories of nomination : participation, co-operation and innovation. Lublin project has been nominated in the category "Co-operation", next to Ghent in Belgium and Istanbul in Turkey. In the category "Participation" there were nominated Madrid in Spain, Newcastle in Great Britain and Reykjavik in Island. In the category "Innovation" there were nominated Belfast in Great Britain, Espoo in Finland and Utrecht in The Netherlands. The awards jury was impressed by the high quality of the selected award entries. Now we are asked to produce a short film of about one-and-a-half minutes which, in combination with the content of the project, will be judged by the awards jury during the final jury meeting in The Hague on 26 November. All films will be shown during the Awards Ceremony at The Hague's City Hall on 26 November.
